brokedown last night. Fixed the alternator with a hammer. Caned it overnight. Into Ukraine 3am, hectic. Getting v good at sign language + aqua-planing.x

well the best kipper to date may just be the fact i got our number plate wrong,when setting up our vehicle passport.

Now all our documents for getting into Mongolia have got the wrong number plate on them - nice...

well we've made it out of western europe, which is well nice...

in czech, which is new ground for us both. made great time considering it included waiting 4 hours in germany for a pair of replacement shock absorbers (our truck is seriously struggling with the weight and the old shocks are just doing nothing to help). it kind of feels like you're trying to drive a bouncy castle down the road!

so we're in prague for a night and then off to slovakia in the morning where we plan to actually change the shocks over provided we can find somewhere suitable to set up camp...
